Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
As the title states, I'm looking to start freelancing in bookkeeping. I did bookkeeping for 2 years with my last accounting firm before I was laid off. I didn't have any experience in bookkeeping before I started there. We never used Quickbooks (We used CLS, which I believe is old as sin) so I've heard that getting Quickbooks Certified is a really good starting point. Anything else? Should I go to my local community college and take some accounting courses or should I be good with the experience that I have? Is there anything that I should do to make sure that I start off on the right foot?
Thanks for your time!
