Is this normal, never had this before but I guess I often use booking.com for hotels.
Booked a place in Italy and the owner has messaged me asking if I wanted to pay him to lower the costs and him avoid taxes.
Place is €492. He originally offered it for €450 as he said my bill was €528.
I showed him my bill of €492 and he said ok I’ll do for €400.
Looking at the photo, I’m guessing he has to pay booking.com €82.23 from the €456.84 so would make a tiny bit of profit?
One of my worries is my booking.com booking is non refundable and at the moment I would rather just leave it and pay the original price.
