I picked up my first trees over the weekend, but I have some questions on next steps.
Post Body

Here's a link to a gallery of the trees I picked up, a couple of boxwoods, a couple of pines, and an azalea.

I've read through the wiki a couple of times, and I don't know if it's just me, but it feels a little hard to follow at times. Feels almost like drinking from a fire hose.

As to my questions:

  1. Do I start pruning them into the shape I'd like now or do I let them grow some more?
  2. Along those same lines, do I wire the tree now as well?
  3. Do I also need to repot these? If so, do I need a "bonsai" style pot? Size? Soil?

I think some of the other things like how to style, watering, placement, I'm more up to speed on; well as much as a first timer can be, I know I'll make mistakes but that's how you learn.

Let me know if I need to clarify anything or if this should have gone into the beginner thread.

Thanks!
