And how well they played out his death. It's a pure masterpiece of cinematography. Focusing on his murderer setting the gun up and then steadily cycling through each member of the team doing what they always do and showing just how truly vulnerable they really are. They never give you a hint of who it is making you truly believe it could be any one of them even when focusing in on the Jeffersonian. It's not until the shooter looks down the scope that it becomes apparent. It's just so good. It's such a stark slap to the face and begins a road of pain and loss and it couldn't be done in any better way.
