Can I get some kind of reading on my relationship/connection with 2 different guys I've met?

J - We had a really strong initial connection, but l got scared and pushed him away from fear of getting hurt, so he backed off. I tried to get past my fears because I really like him, but have just gotten mixed signals from him ever since. It's understandable I guess but I really regret pushing him away now. Should I just give up and let him go? Or is it still salvageable?

S - Had a pretty intense long distance relationship with this guy and we just briefly reconnected this week. Will we have more communication? Should I pursue it or leave it alone?
