Post Body

Hi,

I just got official notice that GM has offered to replace my Bolt with an equivalent vehicle.

The problem being I'm currently purchasing a home and of course you shouldn't touch anything credit related during this process. Has anyone had experience with how the loan changes work when your car is replaced? Please let me know what happens.

Will a new loan be opened or will a "substitution of collateral" (TD Auto offered this wording when I called) occur?

Any assistance would be appreciated.
