"Charge cord not fully inserted" in 2023 Bolt EV
Post Body

I tried plugging in this morning and noticed that it was giving this error message. I look and see and it seems like the EVSE that came with it is not fully latching down, thus the bolt thinks that it is not "engaged" and the metal latch doesn't drop down (the locking noise) and the car doesn't charge.

I was able to fix it with a hair tie to hold the latch down, but it's so frustrating I had to do that to begin with. I wonder if this means the travel EVSE has a worn spring in it?
