I own a 2022 bolt LT1 base model. I purchased it in July of 2022 snd have over 27,000 miles on it. Don't get me wrong, I love my Bolt but I have a few gripes. I know it has been discussed before but the tail lights are a joke and I really think that they are dangerous. I know Bolt is not the only car that puts the brake lights and turn signals way down low in the back bumper I just don't understand why anyone would want to decrease visibility of these lights. Put them in the same place as the running lights in the mid-level of the rear. If you want to add them down low as well, I'm fine with that. Just put them where people's eyes are naturally looking since they see lights there anyway. Next is if the fact that you can't manually turn on low beam headlights. If the front end is covered in snow the "Magic Eye sensor" thinks that it needs to turn on the highbeams. There is no way to override that and turn on just the low beam headlights. So if it's snowing out and your front end is covered in snow, you've got no choice but to Blind oncoming drivers. My third and final gripe is the lack of comfort of the front seats. Come on GM, you know how to make more comfortable seats. My left thigh gets poked right in the middle of the underside of my thigh when driving because that's where the seat comes to its highest point and that's the edge & end of the seat. I'm thinking about having my bottom seat cushion removed and custom built. I drive my car quite a bit and I'd like to be comfortable while doing so. That's the end of my bitch session. Sure there are other things I could complain about like the relatively slow fast charging but I knew that when I bought the car. The other things should really be addressed by GM in the new Bolt if that ever comes to fruition.
