Was having a conversation with some friends who are new to Bollywood and some other people overheard us and decided to chime in and say PC best work is Fashion and her only award she gotten was for it which is obviously not true and her career is successful cause of KJo. Also untrue. So Im on here to shine a light on Priyanka and speak about her successes and hard work and how she really did it all without the backing of a camp or godfather. Priyanka never was an exclusive heroine of YRF or Dharma she’s done like two films each with both production houses. Never been part of a KJo, Aditya, Mani Ratnam, Yash Chopra directorial film. Never worked with Aamir Khan. She is the only actress in Bollywood to win an award in all major acting categories at Filmfare. (Best Actress/Best Actress Critics/Best Debut/Negative role/Best Supporting) She had 22 films released in 3 year period (2005-2008) Played 12 different characters in What’s Your Raashee (2009). She also is apart of 2 of the biggest franchises in Bollywood (Krrish and Don). Honestly Priyanka really did her thing. While I really miss her in Bollywood movies she definitely came and conquered and it wasn’t an easy journey. She was very close to being pushed aside a few times if it wasn’t for Don (2006) which and Dostana and Fashion both in 2008 that kinda revived her career in a way after some box office flops. She is very expressive with her eyes like Kajol. Very great at emoting. 2011 and onwards she really started experimenting more with films like 7 Khoon Maaf, Barfi, Mary Kom DDD and Bajirao Mastani all these films which she gained critical acclaim.
