KNPH was a rage when it came out, one movie people ended up watching multiple times. If I think back to the film now, it was one entertaining turn in the story after another and there was never a dull moment. From the start at the car showroom, to the beach birthday, to the cruise ship, then island, the murder, New Zealand etc. Then came the villainy and final showdown after the dance performance. There was so many good comedy breaks, like the laundry boy scene, the moustache on the woman in the plane, Johnny Lever in the police station etc. It didn't matter that the double role didn't have logic, because there was genuine entertainment that naturally flowed scene after scene. There was so much anticipation when the 2nd HR came back and all the villains started sh*tting in their pants. And I loved all the supporting characters too, like the younger brother who went mute after Rohit died. I don't know why today's movies are not able to manage that. Even the biggest movies today need to be forced down the audience's throats. Maybe it's the fact that nothing surprises us anymore, that audience is so aware that filmmakers are just not able to come up with entertaining storylines? But anyways hope films like that return to Bollywood.
