Hello! Every year I toss a dart on a map and go visit for a weekend. This year it landed in Boise! Looking to go from September 6th through the 9th and was wondering if that was a good weekend to go. My trip last year was to Philly and I got physically, verbally, and mentally assaulted after I was accused of being a Pittsburgh Penguins fan (I am one, but that’s besides the point).
My main reason for going is to explore nature and have some real good eats out there. I’m flying in from the Reno area so short flight thankfully. What’s a good place to look for a hotel while I’m there? What parts of town should I avoid? How likely is it that I will have to enter a death battle with wildlife? Any good hole in the walls?
Thanks in advance!
Find access to greenbelt and you will find all you need. It's like a highway for humans through Boise, it will take you through all major obstacles and to some good areas and have stops and maps along the way. Also means around the downtown area you won't ever be alone so it's a good area, we don't have any national sports team here so come decked out.
