I have a bunch of assets that I’d like to invest in VTI (had them set aside for house purchase that I decided against) but the record breaking highs in the last couple of days have me freaked out - how do you all deal with this feeling when committing to a passive investment strategy? When you want to rebalance and the market is at a record high do you wait even though that’s timing the market?
I’ve had two all out moments and I’ve been right about them. The trick is getting back in.
I’d say this is an all out moment and summer will be nothing but a move down.
I’ll personally just hold though.
