100k to invest. First timer. Should I do this?

I’ve had a chunk of money in a HYSA for far too long. Looking to finally invest into something. My plan now is to dump a lump sum into stocks etf. Majority will be in VOO then thinking of sprinkling the rest on stuff like SCHD, QQQ, VGT etc just to add some diversification. What do y’all think? I mean I earning close to $500 on interest monthly with all my cash in a HYSA. I’m assuming long term this ETF is better?
