I am the fiduciary of $80k, $72,000 after tax we estimate. My uncle is a former CPA and currently owns a financial securties firm in an undisclosed city so hes already bought a bank deposit sweep program and we have a UTMA for my 13yr old. All the grandkids are using money managers but I wanted to invest the r/bogleheads way. First, I wanted to hear from the r/bogleheads themselves first before I pull the trigger. Any further comments added to the conversation would be much appreciated. I am considering the 1 Fund scenario and want to see examples of what this money could do if I spread it out based on someones success story of diversification in portals. Otherwise, I like the more aggressive ETF's running 15% and up for my son's money and going big until Its time to switch with the times. Thank you in advance.
