DAE feel like the body positivity movement is useless because oppressive societal beauty standards are still in place?

I feel that it doesn’t matter how many “body posi” girls (many of which fit into socially accepted beauty standards) post words of validation online/encourage others to reconsider beauty standards etc. society’s expectations for attractiveness are as rigid as ever and I honestly don’t see them ever changing. Outside of “body positivity” online circles, we are still going to be judged for our perceived flaws and discriminated based on weight. Nothing they say has ever helped me tbh...
