I love this show and think it may be the best writing in TV history, also production-wise itâs definitely top 10 ever. My biggest issue with the culmination of Boardwalk Empire was how Tommy Darmody (sic) exacted revenge on the behalf of Gilliane, however, he didnât particularly know her that well. After all, wasnât he separated from her when he was 5 years old? He barely remembered her when he moved away, and yet he goes on a murderous rant about âgrandmaâ before he offed Nucky.
Made no sense at all, but I understand why Terrance Winter and the other producers/writers made things this way. I just wish it was a little more sensible given the plot.
