Rulebook Diagrams - Does anyone have good examples?
Post Body

I'm working on developing some diagrams for my rulebook and ran into a bit of a snag regarding one concept from my game.

I'm trying to figure out a good way to display how movement works. Essentially players can move up to 3 spaces from their current location, but each step can only be in a cardinal direction.

One thought was to just give an example and let readers extrapolate the full potential, while another was sort of mapping out the full possibilities with some sort of overlay (indicating tiles that are 1, 2, or 3 spaces away)

But just wanted to check if people knew of games with similar movement mechanics that had good diagramming so that I can find some inspiration.

Thanks in advance!
