So begins the wars of the Nephites and the Lamanites. Contention begins, and Nephi and his people turn to the Lord for help. Significant to these chapters is a powerful and all-permeating hope that things will work out. This passage has strengthened my testimony of the Book of Mormon, in particular, its deliberateness in structure. The Book of Mormon is structured in such a way as to maximize its effectiveness in bringing souls to Christ. The more I read and let it speak to my heart, the more I realize how powerful and effective the Book of Mormon is, and how great a testimony of Christ it is.
