I’m sure you all are familiar with the fan animation collab. If not, it’s when a bunch of artists come together and reanimate a scene from a show, example here.
This is NOT an official statement of some project, but more of a proposal. I want to know what you guys think and if there is even enough Bojack artists to pull this off. A couple of things to consider:
Time. If we’re trying to do this before Halloween in January. It’s not enough time unless people are dedicated to this project. Animation can take quite a bit of time and projects can take quite a bit of time.
Scene. I’m not sure what scene would be good to do. I think the opening would be a good place to start because it’s short and familiar, but I’m open to suggestions of small memorable scenes within the show. I think using a short scene would make it easier to work with vs recreating an entire episode. Obviously.
Participants. Maybe there’s not a lot of artists in the community, maybe there’s even fewer animators. I mean maybe we could split some tasks up between animators and people willing to color? So that the burden isn’t so heavy on an individual person. I feel like time is really the opposing factor here.
I dunno, this is just an idea that’s been in my head. If a good amount of you are interested, I’d be willing to move this project forward. Again, your feedback and suggestions are welcomed!
