Who does Charlie the intern remind you of?

I know Charlie is not really based on any celebrity but I sort of see a bit of Conan O'Brien. He is quite lanky and was the editor of the Harvard Lampoon. He even makes a cartoon of sorts about his tie. Gets picked up by NBC(or is it NBSea in the Bojack universe). Conon is lanky, he went to Harvard and wrote for the Lampoon, and has written for the Simpsons.
Maybe I am just pulling straws and he is just an awkward intern working for his dad who promotes him.
