In looking for a pair of loud portable speakers, I stumbled upon the Soundore Rave Neo and purchased a pair. I also picked up a pair of W-King D8. I was able to test them both over the weekend.

At a short distance, I preferred the loudness and sound quality of the W-King D8. However the Rave Neo was slightly louder and had a longer "throw". This was really apparent when I tested them at the beach. The D8 was great for 6 ft from the speaker and the Rave Neo was great for at least 12 feet at max volumes.

Someone here mentioned that the Rave Neo was like a Motion but much louder. No way. The clarity and quality of the Motion is way better than the Rave Neo.

I am still not sure which pair I'll keep, but will post again with a deeper review.
