Post Body

I was out doordashing and came across a beautiful bloodhound. He was walking around and he crossed the street. I had almost hit him. Luckily I didn't. I stopped and approached him. I was cautious (I thought it was a Doberman at first lmao) when he saw me we locked eyes but he didn't run. I called him over and he started walking towards me. I gave him some pets and such. He didn't have a collar and i didn't see anyone around that could have been his owner. I posted in our local fb watch group and on find Toby. No one has claimed him. He unfortunately trotted away before I could try to get him. I wasn't sure if they were aggressive so I didn't want to try to hold him.

It's been 5 hours and no one has yet to find him apparently (from fb) I've been driving around the area relentlessly between door dash orders trying to find him. It's about 40 degrees out and I want to bring him in overnight so he doesn't freeze to death.

Can anyone shed some light on these dogs? Would he possibly stay in the same area as he was found? Where could he have went (especially at night) I'm gonna be going out and trying to find him I'd It's the last thing I do. I should have risked trying to keep hold of him so I could at least keep him safe 😔
