My job this summer leads me to frequently not know my schedule til the last minute, so I often make an appointment through the app in the morning to go in and donate in the afternoon/evening. (I'm a platelet donor.) I've never had a problem before doing this but today I came in and an employee told me they weren't going to take me because they didn't have the staff and weren't doing same-day appointments although the app allows you to make them, and I should always schedule in advance. Has anyone else had this experience? What's the deal? Should I just assume no more same day appointments although it worked out in the past?
