Is this how all battle royale shooters are at release?
Post Body

Hey so I'm curious since this is my first fps game and first battle royale game - I notice A LOT of people on here and on Discord complaining how difficult the game seems and how "sweaty" the players are. I've played only RPGs and stuff like Mass Effect and I definitely find it crazy difficult to be good at aiming.

But I'm wondering, do all games of this genre start like this or is this particularly different? Like did people complain like this about Apex or Fortnite or whatnot?

I've tried to get my friends into this game but it's pretty hard to keep them interested if they do decently well in other shooters but die so fast in this one. I'm just curious if there's a precedent and things will eventually change where all the hardcore very skilled people or those using cheats eventually move on to a newer game and we're left with a different, more evenly matched vibe?
