I want to start a blog, but I really want to do this right this time. I had another blog through Blogger and was utterly unimpressed by how plain and amateur my blog looked no matter how I tried to change the layout. Upon further research, I found this was mostly due to the lack of customization Blogger had to offer.

I've done a bit more research and found that Wordpress would probably better suit my needs.

• I've picked my subject matter
• I've picked my name
• I've checked that the .com, Twitter, and Instagram are free for my chosen name

And I have absolutely no idea where to go from here. I know I want to buy the .com but I don't know where to start or how to proceed once I do.

Also, any general advice for a fairly new blogger would be appreciated. (I swear I've tried looking around the sub, but everything is in bits and pieces. We need to get an FAQ up in this bitch.)

Just lay everything on me!
