Re-Announcing old content....
Post Body

I think it's safe to say that we all have that handful of blogs that we read regularly that we kind of aspire to be. I'm not talking about copying, mind you. Just more along the lines of "I like their style/voice/the way they do certain things" and we take those things and make them our own.

One of the blogs that I respect more than most others has been doing something with their Facebook page that I only recently noticed. The essentially posting really old content and not really saying "here's a blast from the past", so to speak. At best, a "From the Archives" in the main part of the FB post at best. Many times I've clicked on it and read the article and not realized that it was something from a couple years ago. As I only noticed this recently, I went back and looked and saw that a lot of their posts (50%-60%) on Facebook are like that.

What are your thoughts on this practice? Are there benefits to it or ways that could make it more beneficial? I hate to think I've been missing out on some click-throughs.
