I am starting a dad-blog and I need to come up with names for my kids.

I was thinking Guppy, Minnow, and some other fish. This comes from the fact that my daughter was called Guppy when she was a baby (and the nickname has stuck a bit when we talk about her). It breaks from convention of DS/DD/DH/DW which I am not a big fan of.

I think this adds to my voice, and makes me ... well, me. I don't think that it works for me to try to be like everyone else. But maybe it's going to hurt my credibility? Thoughts?

Edit: Thanks everyone for the comments. I ended up using fish names because I like it, even though my wife isn't a fan. This is what it looks like and I think it works.
