I currently have a lot of my writing up on Amazon, but the sales aren't too good. I'm thinking of starting a blog with a multiple topic focus, and using donations as a revenue stream. Some of the content will be paywalled, some won't be (starting out, none will be)

I have both blogged and written before, so I'm not worried about creating good content. I just want to have a revenue system that works for myself and my readers. I'm not a big fan of Amazon because I don't wish to line Bezos's pockets and they have the same predatory buying into their ecosystem (I don't use Apple for that reason)

I've explored both traditional publishing and self publishing to a great degree, but I think blogging would give me the most control. I have a Wordpress website ready to go, and I know how to use it fairly well.
