Hello and good day to my fellow redditors.
This post is mostly about sharing frustrating 'helpful' responses and hearing what others have experienced.
I am not seeking advice. Sometimes it just helps to not feel alone in the struggle to encounter helpful help.
Feel free to share your experience and/or great comebacks.
I travel often so keep in mind these responses are from all over the USA, Canada, and Europe.
When i ask a ticket attendant at amtrak which is the reciept and which is the actaul ticket
- "just read it"
When i hear someone order from a food truck i can smell and i ask that person what this trucks sells.
- "it's all listed right there."
When you go to a restraint and non of the bathroom signs are tactile and you ask a waiter which one to use.
- ">t's those doors right over there"
At a grocery store trying to find a specific product and the workers refuse to use left or right. When you have told the service desk attendee several times you can't see and they still tell you to read the signs.
- "over there, that way, it's that way you can see the signs"
