Post Body

I said, under my breath, after being aggressively redirected to a different line by an agent bc it was clearly all us passengers fault for not understanding the labyrinth style lane dividers - "why are they always so rude?"

And cue the chucklehut behind me in line thinking this is a great time to try out his new stand-up routine says - "yeah. And it's always the women. I think it's bc they have to wake up so much earlier to put on make-up."

Like...sir. wtf. Why. I glared at him and he backtracked quick, saying "well...wait. I didn't mean these women." No, of course not. Just the communal, monolithic "women" that are the butt of his ridiculous "joke." That he was demeaning and reducing to a tired stereotype about how long women take to get ready. Perhaps women are "rude" to him bc he's an exhausting blowhard. Going through TSA is terrible enough without casual misogyny. End rant.
