I've been trying to get into more metroidvanias recently, and after playing games like hollow knight, ori, and ender lilies I wondered how this would stack up and it definitely met expectations. The combat feels smooth, the bosses are interesting though only the later game ones were much of a challenge imo. The map is big and sprawling with wonderfully designed, distinctive areas. There's lots of quests to do and things to find. There's one thing that I didn't like about the game and that was some of the platforming. Just because sometimes I'd jump to grab a ladder, and I was sure I hit up on the right stick to grab it, and I'd end up plunging to my death by hitting some spikes. Are there any games you'd recommend that are similar to this one?
