Loved the game, played it so much that I broke my VR through sweat damage. 2 months later my VR is finally back in my hands and I've loaded up Blade and Sorcery and played the new updated version, and honestly, was kinda disappointed.. :/
The new movement is weird, sure, and trying to press the movement without kicking is tough. But that can be changed in the setting so w/e. But I feel like something massively changed, not the table missing the beautiful selection (replaced with a book, which is low rez cause we own VR Sets... boo why not a selection gladiator armory if dont want weapons in level?) but the real problem I feel the character is incredibly over powered now. You can literally run through people and just flail your arms and everyone goes flying. Its as if your character is physically stronger in every way. Jumping in the air and kicking someone sends them 5 meters. I felt before I needed to land a good punch (one of my favorite mini games, just box ppl without weapons), but now i just slap them anywhere and they whip to the ground at car crash force or if I hit someone with a sword, it does the same. Its kinda more like GORN now instead of a hardcore fighter.
I really like the fact that its easier to drop your weapon when impaling people :D that part is a very welcome addition. But when I impale ppl or swing my sword they go flying.. is that normal now? I just flail my arms without weapons and everything dies on Very Hard II.
We were always really strong on slowmo which was cool, but always strong is kinda lame. First time I played when I realized how weak I was and they surrounded me, that adrenaline rush was something real...
Also does anyone experience they walk closer to you now? They really try to get within close talker range now.
I don't know, is anyone else experiencing this? Maybe I just need to re-install or something if this isnt normal.
