My mom was going to do 3 to 4 cycles of chemo. After the third cycle she felt so bad that they decided to stop. Her operation is scheduled for December 2nd. I’m not sure if that will change or not. She still thinks that she should be able to keep her bladder since she had chemo. It’s hard for her to understand. It’s hard for me to understand too. I wish she could. She is supposed to get a neo bladder. I hope she recovers from the symptoms of chemo. Mainly it was severe nausea and nothing tastes right. She was getting weaker but they gave her fluids and nausea meds IV. She has meds at home too. Now we wait and see. A few people want to come for the operation that I can’t picture sitting with them all day. I am so glad this operation exists.
