My mom is having a tough time. Her operation was December 2nd. She came home twice and had to go back by ambulance because she had complications that do not happen to everyone so do not worry about that. She did have to get an ostomy bag so she had an operation for that too. That will be reversed in 6 months. The ostomy and the bladder are good but she does not eat or drink. They have her on iv nutrition again. She says she can’t. I think she needs to be diagnosed for depression and she may get her appetite back if she’s getting help and on the right medication. Have you had trouble eating after surgery? What kinds of foods have you liked?
