DIY power hammer advise

Hello all I am wanting to build a power hammer. I can get my hands on a clothes dryer maybe that motor would be good idk. But I don’t have much in funds but I do have scrap wood and a sledge hammer. Just need a good direction to go on. If you prefer to dm you can or any comments or advise would be greatly appreciated.
