I bought the Mr Volcano two burner forge recently and installed the insulation last night. During installation, I had some difficulty lining up the holes on the insulation to the burner entry tubes, and the sheet of insulation started breaking down on me (fully saturated per their instructions). I finally got things in place, but then there was a decent hole just under the one burner entry tube. I was able to pull some insulation from another area and patch it (using some rigidizer as a bonding agent). So there’s no exposed metal, but there is a low point of insulation at the burner entry tube, which already seems to be held on by some questionable welding. I wanted to get some feedback on how fucked I might be and what the best course of action to take. I reached out to Mr Volcano support, but I’ve heard complaints in their customer service, so I wanted to reach out to this community. Thanks in advance!
