I think I am entitled to add on to this conversation, given that I transformed my skin using my methods. I promise that if yâall stop eating nasty ass food (and letâs be real, Americans eat like shit, especially us colored folk), go on 1-3 fasts (once trained, of course, but even daily intermittent fasting for 16-20 hours works), completely cut out of sugar (especially stuff like soda and candy, always make sure to read nutrition labels, most products have added sugars in them but look âhealthyâ. Also, fruits and some honey is perfectly fine, if not encouraged) as sugar can lead to âsugar skinâ/cause inflammation, which leads to poor skin.
Skin care products like retinol, SPF, lotion, and even cold water can help, but this mostly boils down to what we put in our body and how often we do so. Find what works best for you, but remain objective. Donât eat stuff just because YOU THINK itâs healthy, actually go confirm that it is healthy by doing a few seconds of label readings and do research, good skin doesnât come from being lazy (well, some have great genetics that render what I said invalid, but thatâs not most of us lol).
I went from looking like I was a 35 y/o dad at 20 to looking younger at 26 than I ever did then.
