Post Body

Like many others I have come to find the internet to be a very nasty place, where people behave in ways they wouldn't dare to in a face to face setting. People can be rude, they can talk trash that would make a sailor blush, and they can threaten anyone they feel like tormenting. I know that it's just a reality and I should accept it, but I often wonder if anything could be done to stifle that sort of environment? I know that once swatting was taken out of schools students list fear of the authorities and they became disobedient and unruly. If you weaken border laws then migrants will flood in. There are many examples that show when consequences are not a possibility well, people will do just about anything. So, what about the people on COD that have big mouths online? Many of them, we will know, are just punk kids or losers who would cower in real life if they were ever challenged. They are always so witty and brave when they know that they are safe in their little bubbles. What if they had to own those words? I know it will never happen, but I wish that everyone that chooses to have an online presence must give their real names and the town they are from. I think that quickly we would see a difference in people's behavior and the respect we show one another. Not addresses, that is too much, but with a quick search we could find that anyways. If a 23 yr old smart ass realised that at any moment a real bad ass, as compared to an internet tough guy, could show up at their door then he may just behave different. It would remove so much of the nasty conversations and internet bullying! Again, I know it will never happen, but I wish it were so. I'm so tired of playing COD and Blackout and having losers pretend to be mighty mouse, not knowing what I really could do to them and who I really am. Just a vent session. Lol. I love Blackout and COD, and I want the atmosphere to be more hospitable and friendly, and if doxing people is what it would take, then so be it. Thanks all!!
