Snipers equal cowards?
Post Body

This is a very controversial subject, and I'm not trying to offend anyone, I just hope to open a conversation and get everyone's thoughts and opinions. Something that bothers me a lot about the game is the prospect of being sniped from across the map by someone I never see, hear, or know is there. Oftentimes I engage an enemy and both of us give it our best, and in the end the best man wins. Then, while we're healing and repairing our armor, a bullet from out of nowhere pearce's our armor and finishes us off. We never saw the opponent, we never heard the opponent, we never even knew we were being targeted. I do not fault anyone for using the assets and tools provided by the game, but I do believe that some parts deserve less credit and earns less value to their win. A player that faces several enemies in the final circle and emerges victorious while another player stays in the distance and never faces his opponents and proves who's the better player. Which player is better? Which win has more value? Again, I fault no one, and I disapprove of no parts of the game. (Other than the Time to Kill!) However, snipers, in my opinion take the easy, or in my opinion the coward, way out. Snipers have a skill that I do not! I appreciate their ability to look through a scope and quickly pick someone off from far away! I do not, however, think that they are the same caliber players that face their opponents face to face. So now I open it up to all of you, for your thoughts and opinions? Everyone keep it civil, and everyone show respect. When I get sniped from across the map it it's far easier to accept that loss than when an opponent beats me straight up. In real life if an opponent that would hide from far away and wouldn't face me straight up, I would think they were a coward! That transfers over to the game, and although it is just a game, we all show our character and integrity in the way that we play it.
