Hello, I'm a 19m Brit and Im fascinated with history. I'm particularly interested in the migrations and origins of different peoples around the world. I was reading about 'FBA' thought it's hard to find any academic sources or historical records pertaining to this. I understand it's highly possible evidence or proof of this was destroyed by European-americans as a way to undermine and reduce the African-American/Black identity, so I figured this was the best place to ask!
I'm not trying to instigate anything here or deny this FBA claim, just want to learn more about it. Partly because I find African history extremely interesting, and think it's a shame that Africa's historical identity is often viewed with a patronising and ignorant lens of inferiority by the uneducated. I do understand though, that the idea of FBA is that the titular group is not African (apart from way back, but we're all from there originally) but actually the original Americans.
I'd love if someone could help educate me here 🙏🏻
Blessings to you and your families.
