Grow it out???

Been wanting to fully commit to growing out my hair. I’ve always had waves but really want to shoot for two strand twists. I just turned 30 this year and wanted the “new look” but was thinking maybe I’ll look less mature if I have twists…
Thing is, I work a corporate job. I’m a manager in banking and customer facing so that might make them look at me more differently than they already do..
Thoughts? Can I pull it off? Help a brotha out..
