I'm going to take a class, which styles should I focus on?

I called a woman in town who graciously agreed to give me two hours of her time. Since I have limited time, which styles should I focus on? I'll be taking my mannequin head who has type 4 human hair, rather than a model because I don't know someone who would let me use them as a practice to fiddle with for two hours.
