I have a ex who stalks me off and on. He’ll pop up randomly at my house . He literally just left my house a moment ago. I was pulling up to my house,backing my car in, he then pulls up,he rolled down the window but I didn’t , I sat in the car until he left maybe 2 minutes. Then I ran inside.. Should I message him via IG and tell him to leave me alone?

For a bit of context when he used to do this I’d always give in, I was young and dumb thought it was “cute”. At this point in my life I find it weird and I’d like it to stop. I’ve made a police report in the past but they never did anything despite him being on probation. He doesn’t really “scare me” he’s never hit me or anything. I just think it’s weird it’s been going on for 5 years . He’ll pop up 2x a year on the random.

TLDR: my ex stalks me. I want it to stop. Should I message via IG and tell him to stop?
