At this point I've made numerous posts about Asta's father. I've said why he could be a noble and it wouldn't damage Asta's image.

However, with the recent chapter and all that has happened regarding the soul. I think I may have a theory of why Asta's father being a peasant or commoner could make sense.

Now, I just thought maybe Asta's dad if from the land of the rising sun. We have seen how the soul effects people on BC. Yami's home land has ki, perhaps there is some type of soul bending art in the land of the rising sun. Maybe learning that before he came to the Clover Kingdom is why Asta's dad could survive Licita, by actively bending his own energy.

He could have died using this same technique to save Asta's own life. Maybe he used his own life force to save him or gave up protecting his own life force to use the technique on Asta. I mean, everyone says there maybe unknown properties of ki.

So maybe this will also be the key to reversing what Lucuis has done. [Even if I do prefer it is permanent].
