Does Bitwig support MIDI step input?

I'm not 100% sure if that's the correct thing to call it, but I'll describe the behavior. Also, both Logic Pro and Ableton allow you to do this.
Essentially, when you press a MIDI key whilst in the piano roll, it will input a note of specified length into the note editor. Each MIDI key you press will input one or more of that note.
Currently as far as I can tell (aside from recording MIDI), the piano roll only supports drawing MIDI via the cursor. Not via step input.
