How can one get more money to invest? Banks, credit unions, other institutions maybe? (Considering one have enough fiat to pay off a loss)

I am currently looking to borrow more money than my credit card has to offer. Specifically $5,000

My purpose is that I have enough money to invest, but am more comfortable investing money with a backup (being able to pay off a loss).

Considering I am a student with a starting FICO score, how could I go about borrowing money?

Would a bank, a credit union, or another institution give me this opportunity?

I am very certain of the risk. I am capable of paying back $5,000 (considering investing could go north or south) from my previous job.
