Hey guys,

So I found an old wallet.dat file in an old backup. I wasn't sure if this was just an older version of my current wallet which had not been updated, or a totally different wallet from something else. I decided to put it into my full node and start it up to see.

Looks like it was just an older version of my current wallet, as it was missing any transactions after 2014. At first I thought ok no problem it was just an older backup, however it did have 2 transactions my current wallet does not have and 2 of the transactions that matched on both had different timestamps.

So can anyone explain how that could be possible? Also why did the core client not find the transactions since 2014 since I thought it automatically runs a -rescan now when loading an old wallet.dat

Can anyone give me some info about what might be going on, or the best way to sort out what the differences might be?
