I am a casual user of bitcoin, I am not invested in it or anything but it seems like a good idea for online payments. I have bought things a few years ago with bitcoin without problem, however I am sitting here waiting for 10 minutes now for a confirmation of a transaction. This wouldn't be the case with a credit card which I now wish I used.

One of the problems I have is that various places advertise that I can't transfer money "instantly" but this is clearly slower than paypal or a credit card. I am sure there are tons of advantages but it would have been easier to swallow if this community wasn't saying it was instant so I would have known what to expect.
