Sorry if jobs aren't permitted in this sub, didn't see any rule against it. I have it x-posted here
Hi BM,
I'm looking for assistance learning Go for a little project. I don't want to just hire someone to do it for me, I'd like to actually understand Go a little better. I have some java experience (just finished Prog I in college) and have been playing around with Go a bit but could use a hand. Normally I'd just go on Freenode for help but I'd prefer some accelerated one-on-one help. I'm open to using desktop sharing/collaborative software if you have a preferred platform but am also fine with talking via microphone or even IRC.
The task I'd like to be able to do is importing an html plaintext response that (appears to be) JSON formatted, then writing it to a .csv file with regular appending to it via Go's ticker func (or similar).... I can get it to print to my Git console but I'm a little mixed up on dealing with the CSV stuff.
Since this task might not take much time, I'd like to use the remainder of the hour to ask questions or let you take over if you have stuff you think would be important to teach.
I'm offering $20 for this but willing to negotiate a little. I'm looking for most any day during this week (the 14th to 20th) I can make most times (EST) in the afternoon/evening work since school doesn't start for another week. I'm fine with escrow but I am on #bitcoin-otc if that helps show my reputation.
Reply below, PM me, or send me a message on IRC via freenode.net to my nick: tunafizz
Thanks!
