Might have found a bug

I noticed that most of the time my people go to jail and end up getting cancer after their eight year. This happens I would say probably 5/8 of my people who go to jail. I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but if it is please fix it, because I really want to try to serve as much as my sentence as possible without dying.
